Windies batsmen once again failed to overcome the challenge of Indian bowlers except for Roston Chase who produced a magnificent century. The Windies batsman’s terrific hundred enabled the visitors to put up a decent total of 311 runs on the board in the first innings At Hyderabad.
Wonderful innings by #RostonChase. He’s got potential and should bat at no 5. Congratulations to @y_umesh for a fine bowling performance. True workhorse of the Indian bowling attack. pic.twitter.com/7nyEO6pIcw

Chase produces his maiden away Test century
The right-hand batsman arrived at the crease with Windies tottering at 92 for four wickets down. Chase played with caution and responded brilliantly to India’s disciplined bowling attack.
He added more than hundred for the seventh wicket with skipper Jason Holder to bail out the team and enabled Windies to reach 311 runs.
Chase had scored a half-century in the first Test as well and he continued his batting form in the second Test as well. He kept the Indian spinners at bay with his solid defence and at the same time kept the score-board ticking.
Chase scored 106 runs, his first away century in Tests and his fourth overall in his career.

The last West Indies batsman before Roston Chase to score a century batting at No.6 or lower in a Test innings in India was Marlon Samuels. He did it in 2002 at Kolkata. #INDvWI
