Netherlands: Ronald Koeman has named a strong 25 man squad for the next two International games against Germany and Belgium.

Almost all the big name players are in the squad. Cillessen should be the man with the gloves for the home team while in the defence, Captain Virgil Van Dijk should be the first name on the name-sheet. His partner at the heart of the defence could be de Vrij, while Blind may be preferred at the left-back over Crystal Palace’s Van Aanholt.

Wijnaldum, Propper, de Jong, and Strootman all are in the squad and only three of them will be starting this match.

Ryan Babel and Promes should be on the wing with Depay completing a false 9.

Steven Bergwijn is also in contention to start this match as the PSV Eindhoven winger is in explosive form for the club.

Kluivert Missing –

The most notable name missing from the squad is Justin Kluivert, the former Ajax winger who moved to Inter Milan in a mega deal on a five-year contract. Formation: 3-5-2 – The latest trend in world football is a three-man defence with the full-backs performing the role of wing-backs, exploding up and down in the most opportune circumstances. Conte changed into this formation in his first season after Arsenal thumped them 3-0 and went on a 14 game winning streak and the rest is history.
Scotland tried it yesterday with their captain Andy Robertson playing in a more advanced position and of course, he was awful. So the point is, in an attacking sense, that’s a good formation only if your wingers are ready to pitch in the defensive works.

Goalie: Well, at this moment, Germany do boast some of the best talents in this position. Manuel Neuer is, of course, their first choice but Ter Stegen is right up there with the very best and then there is Leno, the Arsenal man. Netherlands’ Cillessen is our choice in both these teams.

The Wall: Hector and Boateng from Germany, and Van Dijk from the Netherlands
