KL Rahul last 10 innings: The Indian team management has recently faced a lot of criticism for giving consistent opportunities to India’s star opening batsman KL Rahul in the ongoing Border Gavaskar Trophy 2023 four-match Test series despite his poor form. Rahul’s inconsistent performances for a while now has also introduced a big debate on the social media between former cricketers and cricket fanatics. India will be taking on Australia in the third Test match starting from 1 March, 2023 at the Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore.

Incidentally, KL Rahul has managed to score as many as 125 runs in his last 10 Test innings that also includes games in both Bangladesh and South Africa where he captained the national team as well. Moreover, 1, 17, 20, 2, 10, 23, 22, 10, 12 and 8 are his last 10 scores in the longer format of the game. However, in his entire Test career so far, Rahul has notched up a total of 2642 runs from as many as 47 Test matches at an average of 33.44 that includes 13 half-centuries and 7 hundreds. The national selectors have now removed KL Rahul from the India Test vice-captaincy role, but he is still part of the Test squad for the remaining two Test matches against Australia at home.
However, it still remains to be seen whether Rahul will retain his place in the India playing 11 for the third Test against the Aussie side starting from 1 March, 2023 (Wednesday). It is also very much likely that the in-form Shubman Gill might be included in the side as the opening partner alongside skipper Rohit Sharma.
