In the coming weeks, Tottenham have a whole host of winnable fixtures on the horizon, including against the likes of West Ham United, Wolverhampton Wanderers, and Nottingham Forest. Expect more goals to follow for Captain Kane.

Marcus Rashford

If Kane’s exploits since returning home from the desert have been impressive, then Marcus Rashford’s have been from another stratosphere. Over the last two years, many thought that the pacey Manchester United striker would never realise his enormous potential. But three goals at the World Cup clearly restored his confidence, and he has brought that confidence back to Old Trafford with him.

Since the winter break ended and the Premier League resumed, Rashford has netted in six of the seven top-flight games he has played in. He has also added a further two goals and four assists in the FA Cup and the League Cup. The 25-year-old is in the form of his life, and without Cristiano Ronaldo, he is now the main man in the red half of Manchester.

Alexander Isak

Newcastle United made Alexander Isak their record signing last summer when they forked out an eye-watering £63m to Spanish side Real Sociedad. A goal on his debut against Liverpool and another against Bournemouth a fortnight later got plenty of the Geordies on Tyneside excited about their new big-money striker. But his progress was hindered almost immediately when he suffered a hamstring injury, subsequently missing the vast majority of the opening half of the campaign.

But on January 15th, Isak made his return to Eddie Howe’s first-team squad. And he was immediately back amongst the goals, netting the winner in a 1-0 victory at home to Fulham. The Magpies are looking to seal a return to the UEFA Champions League for the first time in two decades, and in order to do that, they will need their Swedish hitman firing on all cylinders.

Eddie Nketiah

The shock of the season thus far has been Arsenal’s ascent to the Premier League’s summit. But the Gunners had some devastating news at the World Cup when their star striker Gabriel Jesus suffered an injury while playing for Brazil. Mikel Arteta opted not to bring in a replacement striker in January, instead placing his trust in academy product Eddie Nketiah, and so far, the 23-year-old has not let his manager down.

Since English top-flight action returned, Nketiah has scored four goals in seven games, including a brace in the 3-2 victory over Manchester United. It is unknown when Jesus will be returning to the first team fold at the Emirates and in the meantime, they need their young Gunner in and amongst the goals.
