The Nagpur Test was the testimony of India’s dominance at home and how have they fared in the home games since last one decade. They thrashed Australia by a massive margin of an innings and 132 runs to take a lead of 1-0 in the series. It was a staggering effort from their end as they batted and bowled staggeringly well to finish the game just inside three days. Thanks to the brilliant effort from Indian team, they will get two extra days of rest and time to rejuvenate themselves ahead of the second game. Although it was a near perfect game for India, there still were few areas of concerns for them and therefore they will try to rectify that in the second game, that will take place in Delhi. Let’s take a look at 3 Changes India can make for IND vs AUS 2nd Test:
If Shreyas Iyer is fit for the next test, he should walk back into the team. If he is not fit, Gill should be in the playing XI. I’d be happier if both of them are included in the team.
Drop whoever you want. I hope common sense & logic prevails over favouritism.#INDvsAUS

1. Shubman Gill in place of KL Rahul
A lot of eyebrows were raised when Shubman Gill was not named in the Indian XI for the first game. Many expected him to start for the team be it at the top or even in the middle. But team faced a lot of criticism after he was omitted despite scoring a century in the last game he played. On the other hand, KL Rahul is under lot of scanner for his poor outings of late. With him having poor average in over 45 games, his place in the side is under scanner too. We might see a change in the second game itself as inform Gill might replace Rahul at the top and might open innings alongside skipper Rohit Sharma.
2. Shreyas Iyer in place of Suryakumar Yadav
Another change that might well be on cards for India for the upcoming second Test against Australia in Delhi. Shreyas Iyer missed the Nagpur Test due to knee injury and it it expected that he will be fit for the Delhi. If deemed fit, it’s a no brainer that he will walk straight into the team. He’s likely to replace Suryakumar Yadav, who failed to get going in his Test debut. Iyer of late has been India’s best batter in the middle order and has often bailed his team out of trouble. His addition to the side will only bolster India’s strength.
#shreyasiyer 's inclusion will only improve the batting lineup. Solid technique great temperament and a hunger to perform under pressure are just some of his attributes that make him special. A superb player of spin who resonates confidence everytime he's on the pitch.#INDvAUS pic.twitter.com/urID2Hsv2O

3. Ishan Kishan in place of KS Bharat
India team might well be tempted to bring Ishan Kishan in the mix for the second game against Australia in Delhi. It is likely that Shreyas Iyer would be back in the side and team would want a dasher in the side who can change the course of game in few overs and there’s no better than Kishan in the side. He can replace KS Bharat, who failed to set stage on fire in his maiden outing for India. Also Team would want a proper left-hander batter in the top 5 to counter the spin on Delhi wicket and therefore Kishan might get opportunity in the second Test.
