The series between India and New Zealand is evenly poised at 1-1 with both teams putting on sone incredible performances in the first two games respectively. While the visitors pounded the hosts by 21 runs in the first game, the Men in Blue came back strongly and levelled the series by winning the second game by 6 wickets. The focus now shifts on the series decider third T20I that will take place in Ahmedabad on Wednesday (1st February). It’s fair to say that in both the games India has struggled to get going and third game will be opportunity for them to rectify their mistakes and claim another bilateral series. Let’s take a look at 3 Changes India can make for IND vs NZ 3rd T20I.
1. Prithvi Shaw in place of Shubman Gill
Prithvi Shaw could be one change that Indian Cricket Team could make for the final game of the series. It’s fair to say that Shubman Gill hasn’t lived up to the expectations in the two games and with Border Gavaskar Trophy slated to take place next, team might look to rest him. Show can replace him at the top of the order and give India a rollicking starts, which they have been lacking since last 2 games. The Mumbai batter has been in the staggering form in domestic cricket as he recently scored triple ton in Ranji Trophy and also has been in fine form in white-ball as well.
2. Umran Malik in place of Yuzvendra Chahal
India brining in Yuzvendra Chahal for the second game was a tactical change. The pitch offered spin, which was one of the main reason that team replaced him with Umran Malik. The pacer could be back in the team for the last game. As the game being in Narendra Modi Stadium, which is the largest Stadium, in the World, Umran’s pace could be handy for his side. He bowled just 1 over in the first game and was dropped for the second. But is now expected to play a crucial role in the last match.

3. Mukesh Kumar in place of Shivam Mavi
Mukesh Kumar could be in line to make a debut in the third T20I against New Zealand. He can replace Shivam Mavi, who has looked off colours in the first two games He conceded 19 runs in 2 overs in first game and then was given just one over in second game and he conceded 10 runs. With him struggling to get going, team can look to give debut cap to Mukesh Kumar and test his skills. The bowler hasn’t played in any IPL game but has been performing well in the domestic circuit. Therefore he could be one of the change that India could make for the third game.
