Who is Sangeeta Phogat?
Sangeeta Phogat is an Indian wrestler who is a member of the illustrious wrestling family known as “the Phogats”. She is the youngest of the Phogat sisters. At the National Championships, she won a silver medal.
Sangita (or Sangeeta) Phogat spent the majority of her life living in the shadow of her illustrious siblings. She has high expectations because she is the youngest, and having sisters who are accomplished makes comparisons inescapable. Her three oldest sisters are world champions and Olympians.
Sangita Phogat is unfortunately not one of them yet. She began this sport at the age of 23. The finest result she currently has to her name is a silver medal from the 2017 National Games. She is not, however, the least talented person.

Ritu Phogat won a gold medal at the 2016 Commonwealth Wrestling Championship in addition to winning a gold at the National Championships. Sangita holds medals from international competitions for young athletes. It wouldn’t be fair to compare their success when they are not even in the same age group because they are all succeeding well for their individual ages.
