Pakistan vs New Zealand, 3rd ODI: Pakistan and New Zealand are set to turn up against each other in the third and final game of the three-match One Day International (ODI) series on Pakistani land. The match will be played on Wednesday (January 13) at 3:00 PM (IST) at National Stadium, in Karachi.

Earlier, Pakistan lost the second ODI of the series on January 11, at the same venue. The hosts couldn’t put on a convincing batting performance as the series stands leveled 1-1. The Babar Azam-le men will now look to seal the series anyway.

New Zealand, on the other hand, won the second ODI following their defeat in the first game. The visitors did exceptionally well with the ball particularly and secured the victory. The Kiwis, under the leadership of Kane Williamson, will be aiming to seal the historic series win ahead.

Conway’s ton and the Kiwi bowlers help NZ to win the second ODI

On January 11, in the second ODI, New Zealand batted first in Karachi. Conway, the opener hit 101 runs in 92 deliveries with 13 boundaries and a six. Assisting Conway, the skipper Kane Williamson scored 85 runs with 10 boundaries in his account. Meanwhile, for Pakistan, Mohammad Nawaz picked four wickets and Naseem Shah picked three.

In response, no Pakistani batter, except Azam, the captain, could bat well. Azam scored 79 runs in 114 balls, with eight fours and a six. In the meantime, each Kiwi bowler got at least one wicket. Among them, Tim Southee and Ish Sodhi captured two wickets each. In the end, New Zealand won the match by 79 runs.
