Cameron Green AUS vs SA: In a major breaking news development, Australia’s young in-form all-rounder Cameron Green is unfortunately not playing the third and final Test match against South Africa being played at the Sydney Cricket Ground in Sydney. Australia went on to win the second Test match against South Africa by a margin of an innings and 182 runs and that helped the hosts take an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the three-match Test series. Australia now have a great opportunity to whitewash the Proteas team by winning this final Test as well.
AUS vs SA: Why is Cameron Green Not Playing Today’s Australia vs South Africa 3rd Test Match?
Australia’s premier all-rounder Cameron Green bowled a memorable spell of fast bowling during the first innings of the second Test match where he picked up his maiden five-wicket haul and rattled the South African side under a below-par total of 189 runs. He then fractured his right index finger while batting, but returned to resume his innings and scored a fighting half-century as well. Green looked in a lot of pain as he came on to bat after taking some painkillers and the finger injury eventually ruled him out for the third and final Test match. On the other hand, Australia have included left-arm spin bowling all-rounder Ashton Agar in their playing XI as a replacement while considering the Sydney pitch helping the spinners traditionally.
