Kuldeep Yadav IND vs BAN: In a big breaking news development, India are not playing their in-form spinner Kuldeep Yadav in the second and final Test match against Bangladesh scheduled to be hosted at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka. The Indian team took a 1-0 lead in the two-match Test series on the back of an amazing 188-run victory against Bangladesh in the previous Test match.
IND vs BAN: Why is Kuldeep Yadav Not Playing Today’s Bangladesh vs India 2nd Test Match?
After losing the toss and being asked to bowl first, India captain KL Rahul gave the big news that Kuldeep Yadav has been dropped from the playing 11 for this BAN vs IND 2nd Test match. This is a really shocking call after Kuldeep picked up an excellent five-wicket haul in the first innings of the opening Test match against Bangladesh and was also named the Man of the Match. While looking at the Mirpur surface for the 2nd Test that has some extra grass, India have replaced Kuldeep with a left-arm pace bowler Jaydev Unadkat who will be playing just his second Test match after a gap of 12 years.
“We’d have done the same. To be honest, on seeing the surface, not sure what to make of it. There is some grass that you can see, but it’s generally good to bat here. There is generally some bounce here and some help for both pacers and spinners. We’d have wanted to bat first but we aren’t sure what to expect. Just need to play good cricket. Need to bowl well in the first innings. It does seem damp and we need to get early wickets. We made one change – Kuldeep misses out and Unadkat comes in. Unfortunate decision for us to leave him (Kuldeep) out but it’s an opportunity for Unadkat,” said India captain KL Rahul during the toss.

Kuldeep Yadav should stop taking fivers! #BANvIND

The script to keep @imkuldeep18 out of playing XI written in first Test.
Today both spinners will take Fifer on Spinning Track and that will be enough to send permanently out from team to #KuldeepYadav. ?
Perfect Plan ?? @klrahul@YaariSports #BANvIND— Pᴀɴᴋᴀᴊ ᴠᴇʀᴍA (@aspankaj_) December 22, 2022
Leaving @imkuldeep18 out of the playing 11 after he picked up 8 wickets and won the man of the match award is simply outrageous. Can someone explain the rationale? #INDvBAN #KuldeepYadav
