New Zealand vs India, 3rd ODI: New Zealand and India are set to turn up against each other in the third and final game of the three-match One Day International (ODI) series on Kiwi land. The match will be played on Wednesday (November 30) at 7:00 AM (IST) at Hagley Oval, in Christchurch.

The Blackcaps recently won the first game of this series in Auckland on November 25. The series is going to be a vital element of their preparation for the upcoming men’s One Day Cricket World Cup 2023 in India.

Before leaving, India will aim to at least level the series after the second game is washed out due to rain. The side earlier in Auckland lost the game despite an all-around batting performance.

During the local match time in Christchurch, there will be 62% humidity in the air (03:30 PM NZDT). A 70% chance of rain and thundershowers in the afternoon are forecasted around the venue.

The second ODI gets washed out; India aim to tie the contest in Christchurch

Previously, India batted first in Hamilton, in the second ODI of the series on November 27. The side batted for barely 13 overs as the rain didn’t allow the game to move ahead. In those played overs, India scored 89 runs for one. The opener Shubman Gill was not out on 45 runs in 42 balls, with four boundaries and a six in his account. While, Suryakumar Yadav, came in to bat at number three and remained unbeaten on 34 runs until the rain invasion occurred. During his time on the crease, Yadav smashed two fours and four sixes. In the meantime, Kiwi pacer Matt Henry dismissed the Indian skipper Shikhar Dhawan.

Conclusively, New Zealand are leading the series 1-0. On the other hand, India will be looking to level the series anyway.
