NBA Projections, Stats & Analysis
Bucks need to reconfigure
The Bucks are not playing their best defense lately and of course, when your main players are out, the results are to be expected on the downside. Giannis has been raising hell as a scorer, rebounder, and defender but he needs Jrue Holiday to sustain a strong inside and outside defense. Brook Lopez is a strong help defender but has limitations as a perimeter defender. Bobby Portis is a reliable rebounder but his scoring is more effective and more impressionable when the starting unit is stitched together. As the team awaits the return of Khris Middleton, they will need both Antetokounmpo and Holiday healthy to replicate their nine wins and zero losses start.
The Cavs defense hasn’t been the same
The Cavaliers’ defense was among the best to start the season but the recent road trip has derailed their effort. They have been strong offensively but have allowed too many big runs on the offensive end which is a bit shocking considering their defensive rotations. Donovan Mitchell has improved the offense compared to last season whereas Darius Garland has supplied superb playmaking but his scoring has been a bit affected. Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley form a strong defensive frontline but the team is way too inconsistent on that end recently.

NBA Scores, Fantasy Basketball Top Picks
Darius Garland(CLE)
Points: 51
Rebounds: 02
Assists: 06
Steals: 02
Garland nailed ten triples in the last game, taking control in the absence of Donovan Mitchell. He is a strong playmaker but his offense has been a tad inconsistent. His range will depend upon Mitchell’s presence. If Donovan plays, he can be in 15-22 points, it he doesn’t then in 20+ points. Regardless, his assists range is likely to be 7-10. The Guard can be chosen as a Star/Pro Player in the Dream 11 NBA Fantasy scenario.
Giannis Antetokounmpo(MIL)
Points: 27
Rebounds: 08
Assists: 04
Steals: 01
Antetokounmpo is a multiple MVP winner so, at this point, he need not showcase that he is among the top players. The physical wonder can be in 25-32 points, 10+ rebounds, and 1-3 blocks/steals range here.
Donovan Mitchell(CLE)
Mitchell didn’t play in the last game. When he has played, he has put a show on the offensive end as one of the best scorers in the league. I believe he will be in 25-32 points, 4-7 rebounds, and 4-7 assists range IF he plays.
Jrue Holiday(MIL)
Guard Jrue missed the last game. When he plays, his leadership at the Point Guard position and the effort on both ends is inspiring. I believe he will be in 18-24 points, 7-11 assists, and 1-3 steals range IF he plays.
Evan Mobley(CLE)
Points: 04
Rebounds: 13
Assists: 03
Steals: 02
Forward Mobley is an elite defender and a tenacious rebounder but needs to muster up more assertiveness on the offensive end. I believe he will be in 14-21 points, 11-15 rebounds, and 1-2 blocks/steals range.
Bobby Portis(MIL)
Points: 14
Rebounds: 10
Assists: 02
Bobby gives the Forward a great dimension as he can both score and clip rebounds at a fantastic rate. I believe he will be in 13-18 points, 10-14 rebounds, and 1-2 blocks/steals range.
MIL vs CLE DREAM11 LINEUP BALANCERS
- Brook Lopez(MIL): Lopez had 12 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist in the last game. Brook is a tremendous help defender who can also score and rebound well. I believe he will be in 14-18 points, 6-9 rebounds, and 1-2 blocks range.
- Caris LeVert(CLE): Caris had 13 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 block in the last game. LeVert has been a solid all-around presence but more is needed from his scoring. I believe he will be in 12-16 points, 5-7 rebounds, and 4-6 assists range here.
- MarJon Beauchamp(MIL): MarJon had 20 points, 8 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 block in the last game. Rookie MarJon has had a couple of strong games recently. I believe he will be in 9-14 points and 4-6 rebounds range.
- George Hill(MIL): George had 2 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists in the last game. Veteran Guard George is still an effective defender and can give decent playmaking. I believe he will be in 4-7 points and 3-5 assists range.
- Kevin Love (CLE): Lovehad 14 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists in the last game. Love is a dependable rebounder who can also roll in substantial shooting, being a part of the Cavs for a long time. I believe he will be in 11-16 points, 8-11 rebounds, and 3-5 assists range.
- Jevon Carter(MIL): Jevon had 12 points, 6 assists, 3 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 block in the last game. Jevon is an effective defender but his production looks bloated because Holiday was out, which shifted bigger offensive responsibilities. I believe he will be in 7-11 points, 4-6 assists, and 1-3 steals range.
- LaMar Stevens(CLE): Stevens had 15 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist in the last game. Stevens is getting minutes in absence of Jarrett Allen. I expect a 7-11 points and 3-5 rebounds range.
- Cedi Osman(CLE): Cedi had 14 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists in the last game. Osman’s minutes have fallen lately. I believe he will be in 10-14 points range here.
