India vs Bangladesh:  India and Bangladesh locked horns in their fourth game of the T20 World Cup 2022 at the Adelaide Oval. It was a high scoring game that saw batters of both the teams displaying their class. But in the end, it was Indian pacers, who after the rain break bowled their heart out and helped their side win the game.

India vs Bangladesh: India thumps Bangladesh by 5 runs to almost certain their place in semi-final 

Asked to bat first, India had a horrendous start as they lost skipper Rohit Sharma (2) early and were tumbling at 11/2. But after that it was KL Rahul, who returned to scoring ways and smashed a fluent half-century to bring his side in the game.

After that it was Virat Kohli, who yet again stepped up for his side and played a sensational innings. He first acted as a great support to Rahul and Suryakumar Yadav, who played a cameo of 30 runs. But they were back in the hut, he took the charge.

Kohli smashed unbeaten 63 runs and smashed Bangladesh bowlers all over the park to help India post a good total of 184 runs on the board. For Bangladesh, it was their skipper Shakib was the pick of the bowlers as he took two wickets and conceded 33 runs.

Chasing the target, India had no answers to the onslaught by Najmul Hossain Shanto and Litton Das. They took pacers to cleaners and smashed 66 runs in the 7 overs before rain played the spoilsport and the game was reduced to 16 overs with Bangladesh needing 151 runs. India started pretty well after the break as a direct hit by Rahul first saw Das back in the hut and then Mohammad Shami removed Shanto  to left the batting side at 84/1. Before Arshdeep Singh and Hardik Pandya did further damage and took two wickets in 12th and 13th over respectively to put opposition under tremendous pressure. With 20 runs needed off the last over, Arshdeep even though conceded six on the second ball and four on the fifth ball but he held his nerves well to win the game for his side.

India batter Virat Kohli was awarded the Man of the Match in the game against Bangladesh at Adelaide Oval. Coming to bat at No.3, Kohli first played a perfect second fiddle to KL Rahul and Suryakumar Yadav and then after that took the charge. He took bowlers to the cleaners and crafted his innings perfectly to score unbeaten 63 runs and help his side post a total of 184 runs on the board. He also smashed 8 fours and 1 six during his innings.
