India vs Australia: India leveled the 3-match series against Australia 1-1 in Nagpur after winning an 8-over thriller. Captain Rohit Sharma led from the front with the bat as India chased down the target of 91 in just 7.2 overs. Axar Patel and a returning Jasprit Bumrah starred with the ball for India as they dismantled the Aussies bowling attack for just 91 inside a truncated 8 over per side game. Now as both the sides head to Hyderabad for the 3rd and final IND vs AUS T20I, India is expected to make some changes to their playing eleven. Let’s see what possible 3 changes India could make in playing XI for the series decider.
IND vs AUS 3rd T20I: Ravichandran Ashwin in place of Yuzvendra Chahal
The lead Indian spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has been off colours for quite a few games now. In this series itself, he has been going at an economy rate of above 12. Even when his fellow spinner Axar Patel and opposition counter-part like Adam Zampa was troubling the batters with the variations, Chahal was taken for plenty. With the series on the line and the world cup in mind, India should now get a defensive spinner like Ravichandran Ashwin on board. With Axar Patel taking wickets at the other end, Ashwin could easily curtail the flow of runs. The presence of Ashwin will also elongate the batting line-up.

India vs Australia: Bhuvneshwar Kumar in place of Rishabh Pant
India dropped Bhuvneshwar Kumar and replaced him with a batter in Rishabh Pant for the 2nd IND vs AUS T20I. Rohit Sharma made such a move so as to elongate the batting line-up as it was a curtailed 8 over-per-side game. But now as India head to the 3rd T20I, what needs to be strengthened in their pace bowling department. With Harshal leaking runs, it is almost important that Bhuvi makes a return to the playing eleven to control the flow of runs in the initial phase. The presence of Bumrah will also give him a breathing space in the death overs. Unlike the previous games where he was smashed for plenty.

Deepak Chahar to replace Harshal Patel
Harshal Patel has been really off colours ever since returning back from injury. His slower balls and cutters, which were so effective in the IPL, are being too predictable for the batters right now. With the series on the line, India could bring Deepak Chahar in place of him. This would curtail the flow of runs. He has de-moralizing figures of 0/49 and 0/32 (2 overs) in this series.
