Virat Kohli has been banging in records ever-since he made his bow on international stage. The former India captain is one of the best players of his generation and has now scored more fifty plus scores in the T20 internationals.
Most Fifty Plus scores in T20 Internationals
At 33, Virat Kohli has now recorded most fifty plus scores in the T20I format having surpassed Rohit Sharma and is now at 32. Check out the complete list here

Despite not recording a single hundred in the T20 format, Virat has now scored 32 fifties in the format, more than any other player. Virat’s fifty against Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2022 Super Four match, saw him go past the current India captain who has 31 fifty plus scores.
While all of Virat’s tally is contributed by fifties, Rohit has amassed 27 fifties and scored four hundreds. Rohit has been a prime customer and has an amazing record in the game. Also Virat’s average in excess of 50 is the best to have ever been recorded in the format.
Alongside Virat and Rohit, current Pakistan captain Babar Azam is third in line as his bags a tally of 27 fifty plus scores in the format. Babar has been taunted by many as one of the best players in the World and unlike Virat has a T20I hundred to his name. Babar has scored 26 fifties and a hundred, that came against South Africa in April 2021.
The list also contains T20 World Champion David Warner with a tally of 23. Warner first exploded on to the scene in 2009 and has seen him score 22 fifties and a hundred during his tenure with the Australian side.
Martin Guptill of New Zealand completes the top five, as he scored 22 fifty plus scores for the national team. Apart from Rohit Sharma, he is the only player in the top five to bag multiple hundreds in the T20I format. Guptill has scored 20 fifties and two hundreds.
