FIBA Men’s Qualifiers Projections, Stats & Analysis
Tough game for Colombia
Mexico is ranked at 24th and historically, they have produced solid athletes and they have been known for both their athleticism and all-around talent that go on to play to even the NBA among other coveted leagues. Juan Toscano-Anderson who played for the Warriors is also a part of the team but they are much more than him and regulars Pako Cruz, Gabriel Giron, Fabian James, and Paul Stoll are the reason why the squad has made it this far.
Colombia has some strong talent at hand but they are ranked much lower than Mexico at 66. While their offense has been decent, the defense has been an issue for them. Braian Angola and Juan Tello have led from front-wise, especially in terms of scoring and the frontline poses a strong threat. However, the Mexican defense can end the party.
