Stuart Binny set the milestone in ODI cricket, after he completely rattled Bangladesh at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in 2014. The Indian all-rounder picked up six wickets in just 4.4 overs, and conceded just 4 runs. These are the best figures for an Indian in ODI cricket. The all-rounder did not enjoy a successful International career, but he certainly does a memory to cherish for the rest of his life.
Best Test Bowling Figures for India
Anil Kumble is one of the best spinners to have ever played the game. Hence, there is no surprise that he holds the record for best bowling figures by an Indian in the red-ball format. The Indian great is also the third highest wicket-taker in Test cricket.
The Indian wrist spinner decimated the Pakistan batting order in Delhi in 1999. He picked all 10 of opposition’s wickets, and became the first Indian to do so. In 26.3 overs, he conceded 74 runs, whilst bowling 9 maiden overs.
Best T20I Bowling Figures for India
Deepak Chahar holds the best bowling figures by an Indian in T20I cricket. The new-ball bowler picked six wickets against Bangladesh in just 3.2 overs. He conceded just 7 runs, and produced a masterclass display of swing bowling.
