HBH vs ON Dream11: The New Zealand Basketball League is just a month away from being done with its Regular Season and it has been another riveting season as there is a huge improvement in playing standards. In this game of the NZBL, Hawke’s Bay Hawks will tackle the Otago Nuggets to further the season.
The Hawke’s Bay Hawks had started well, winning seven of their first ten games but after that, they lost two in a row. In the last game, the Hawks lost to Manawatu Jets 87-90 despite a 20 points night by Quintin Bailey. On the other hand, the Otago Nuggets have won six of their 13 games, losing four of the last five games, and are currently on a three-game losing streak. In their last game, they lost to the Wellington Saints 88-100. Can the Nuggets snap their losing streak?

NZBL Projections, Stats & Analysis
Bay Hawks need to gather their offense
Bay Hawks had a terrific offense to begin the season but in the last couple of games, both their offense and defense were way off. Bay Hawks need to move it around the bit more it seems. Ethan Rustbach leads the team in scoring average wise but different players have emerged as the leading scorers, such as Jordan Hunt and Derone Raukawa. Bay Hawks will be without Ethan Rustbatch, Jordan Hunt and Hyrum Harris here who are on international duty.
Nuggets’s offense has suffered a lot
The Nuggets’ offense hasn’t been in the same groove and perhaps the latest international duty influx has impacted their rhythm too. Nuggets’ leading scorer has been Billy Boyd who continues to lead the way and showcase his versatile scoring set. Sam Timmins will not be available here as he is away for international duty.
