Liberty has improved significantly

The Liberty has hit a sweet spot this month and the major reason for that has been their improved offensive balance. Marianne Johannes has given the team an additional shooting and playmaking option thus easing the burden on Ionescu. Natasha Howard has been a tad inconsistent but brings tremendous energy on the floor and has given much-needed offense inside. Sam Whitcomb, DiDi Richards, and Xu Han offer different skillsets to help out off the bench.

Dream’s offense has been underwhelming

The Dream has had a rather off time from the offensive end and unlike earlier in the season, their defensive combination has been hurt as they have been hit with multiple injuries. Rhyne Howard has been excellent on both ends but her shot selection can be a bit iffy, she is a rookie after all. Cheyenne Parker was in great rhythm earlier but she has lost her offensive spark. Durr has done a decent job but the trouble is that the team’s overall offense has no rhythm at all, and they have scored 74, 61, 77 in the last three games.
