However, since Sylvia Fowles has returned, they have looked much better and they were showcasing great application just when she was on the cusp of returning. Moriah Jefferson’s performance has improved big time and Kayla McBride has been doing a great job of scoring the ball while Aerial Powers has acted as an All-Around threat. Meanwhile, Jessica Shepard has given solid minutes.

Wings have done well

Losing Allisha Gray hurts the team but you gotta give credit to Arike Ogunbowale here who has become more consistent and continues to make unbelievable shots from outside. Marina Mabrey has been inconsistent since her injury and that is why the Wings’ offense has been inefficient. Isabelle Harrison has been huge at times the big lineup of Thornton, Kueir, and McCowan brings a solid flavor too. The Wings will need to score inside more and more.
