While Dream has had some tough shooting nights, since rookie Rhyne Howard has arrived at the scene, their defense looks elite. In the last game, Ryne shot just 0/9 and the Dream has had needed big nights from the two-way dynamo to succeed. Apart from her and Cheyenne Parker, there has been a lack of offense. Erica Wheeler has been a bit off from the field and it has increased the burden on Aari McDonald.

The Mercury hasn’t had many problems offensively especially when Skylar Diggins-Smith is clicking. Diamond DeShields has been a terrific inclusion whereas Tina Charles is finding her feet.
