CSK vs MI IPL 2022 DRS Not Available: In a massive breaking news development, the Decision Review System (DRS) technology is not available in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL 2022) match between the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and the Mumbai Indians (MI). This is the 59th game of the ongoing T20 tournament being played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma has won the toss and opted to bowl first.
IPL 2022: Why is DRS Not Available in the CSK vs MI Today IPL Match? Here’s the update
The DRS technology is not working at this moment for the CSK vs MI today IPL match as there is a power cut at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. During a big moment in the game, Chennai Super Kings in-form opening batsman Devon Conway was given LBW out by the on-field umpire on just the second ball of the match. Conway was very much convinced that he wasn’t out, but to add to his worries, the DRS technology option was not available due to a power failure at the stadium. Incidentally, the commentators also noted that the ball would have missed the stumps on that delivery had the DRS been available.
Power issues, no drs.. issue isn't the power, but the poor umpiring… #CSKvsMI #MIvsCSK #CSKvMI https://t.co/lwUYReVfxm

If there is power cut, start the game a bit late??♂️ You can't cost some team a match because of these and on top of that with this level of umpiring.#CSKvsMI #IPL2022

If the DRS ain't working, the match should be stopped. This not a local street match. It is a professional cricket match. Totally bullshit decision. #TATAIPL2022 #CSKvsMI

Chennai Super Kings vs Mumbai Indians live score
After losing the toss and being put in to bat first, the Chennai Super Kings got off to a worse start as they lost the big wicket of Devon Conway on the second ball of the innings through a controversial umpiring decision. While playing in his debut IPL 2022 season, Conway had already smashed three excellent half-centuries in a row. CSK also lost Moeen Ali in the same over as Daniel Sams provided Mumbai Indians with the best possible start.
MI’s in-form bowler Jasprit Bumrah then bowled a beautiful delivery to trap Robin Uthappa and provide his team with the crucial breakthrough.
