Virat Kohli – 4 (2016)

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) skipper Virat Kohli holds the record for most hundred in a single edition of the IPL. The former Indian skipper achieved the feat during the 2016 edition of the league when he scored record 4 hundreds. He looked class apart in that season as he also created record for scoring most runs in single edition. He scored 973 runs to etch his name in the record books.

Shikhar Dhawan – 2 (2020)

Senior Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan is among the Indian players who has hit most hundreds in the single edition of the IPL. Playing for Delhi Capitals, the southpaw in the IPL 2020 smashed two centuries. He also became only batsman to to hit two back to back centuries in the IPL. He achieved the feat against Chennai Super Kings and Punjab Kings.

KL Rahul – 2* (2022)

Since 2018, KL Rahul has been a prolific run-getter in the IPL. Many have touted him as the ‘Mr IPL’. Like the past few seasons, the right-hander is having a staggering season. Captain the new team Lucknow Super Giants, Rahul is second on the list of leading run-getters in this year’s IPL. He entered the records book of Most Hundreds by an Indian Player A Season when he scored his second against Mumbai Indians recently. So far he has 2 tons, but with the rate he’s scoring runs, he can even surpass Kohli’s tally of 4 centuries.
