The match was previously scheduled to take place at MCA stadium in Pune, however, with a number of COVID-19 cases increasing in the Delhi camp the match has been rescheduled to the Wankhede.

Marsh has been admitted to hospital, whereas, Tim Seifert is under isolation. Marsh only played the game against RCB, on the other hand, Tim Seifert played only the first three games of the competition.
