PHI vs TOR Dream11: The top-ranked teams are making a ton of noise and are showing why they finish at the top of their Conferences. This is the taste of the Playoffs where the Regular Season’s peak performers take flight and showcase how they were able to pin major wins during the 82-game season. The Philadelphia 76ers and the Toronto Raptors will meet for the second game after the 76ers downed the Raptors comfortably.
In Game 1, Tyrese Maxey dropped 38 points and the 76ers beat the Raptors 131-111 in a sensational win, taking the home-court advantage with full flow. Now, the Raptors have to make adjustments and after establishing a defensive-centric identity, this must-have hit the morale of the team. The Raptors still have adequate time and will they respond here?

NBA Projections, Stats & Analysis
Part II: The Raptors need a big response
The 76ers gave up 34-38 points in each of the first three quarters, something the team was able to avoid for most of the season. The Raptors built a solid defense relying on their all-around lineup that contains sprightly and athletic players but they didn’t see the Maxey storm coming. This game marked a great outing for the 76ers considering it was not two aces in Embiid and Harden who got it done but the young un in Maxey while the fourth-option on offense in Tobias Harris buried 26 points too. This would have gutted the Raptors squad, which limited the two main players to around 33% shooting.
The other terrific aspect of the 76ers win was that they committed just three turnovers and although the Raptors themselves committed just eight turnovers, they couldn’t limit the 76ers chances, thus giving them more than desirable cracks at the basket. The 76ers also shot a brilliant 50% from the three-point line, something which will usually result in a win when you attempt 32 of them.
The Raptors weren’t exactly terrible on the offensive end, they shot 49% from the floor and connected on 40% of their three-point attempts. The major issue was Gary Trent Jr’s off-night as he shot just 2 out of 11, something that has been rather a recurring issue. Siakam and Anunoby each scored 20 or more points while Barnes and Van Vleet scored in the 15-18 points bracket. Overall, the Raptors will need a strong defensive effort in Game 2 at all costs.
Fantasy related tips
Despite his flailing shooting outings, Harden remains a high-yielding Fantasy option, considering he brings elite playmaking and strong rebounding along with around 20 points. On the other hand, Maxey’s stocks surely have risen after his scintillating performance in Game 1. Tobias Harris also showed a lot of value in the first game but in the end, Joel Embiid will remain the most-valued player for the 76ers alongside Harden.
For the Raptors, there are a ton of versatile players but perhaps Pascal Siakam is an obvious choice as the ace player of the Raps. Rookie Scottie Barnes also brings a versatile statline while Van Vleet and Anunoby can also fill the statline but Gary Trent has been way too inconsistent this season. Chris Boucher didn’t receive many minutes in the last game but Precious Achiuwa can end up receiving decent minutes again. Not having Scottie Barnes and Gary Trent Jr. can completely decimate the Raptors here.
