Fastest Ball in IPL 2022: The tempo and level of performances have definitely reached the highest level in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 season so far. Both the batsmen and bowlers have displayed some staggering shows in their respective departments to help their team to perform well in this edition of the T20 tournament.

While playing for the Gujarat Titans, premier speedster Lockie Ferguson has now bowled the fastest delivery of Indian Premier League 2022 hitting an astonishing bowling speed of 153.9 kmph in the match against Chennai Super Kings. Ferguson surpassed the in-form Sunrisers Hyderabad fast bowler Umran Malik who has generated some serious pace this season having hit bowling speeds of 153.4 and 153.1 kmph. However, the Gujarat Titans pacer may have gone wicketless in the match but bowled some really quick deliveries crossing the 150 kmph mark twice.

GT vs CSK: David Miller Steals the show
After having lost the toss and being asked to bat first, the Chennai Super Kings posted a challenging total of 169 for 5 on the scoreboard in their full quota of 20 overs. CSK opener Ruturaj Gaikwad returned back to form having played a brilliant knock of 73 runs off 48 balls that included 5 sixes and as many fours. Ambati Rayudu also scored a crucial 46 runs while skipper Ravindra Jadeja smacked an impressive cameo of 22 runs off just 12 deliveries.

However, in the absence of skipper Hardik Pandya, David Miller smacked an unbelievable innings of 94 runs off just 51 balls to guide the Gujarat Titans towards an incredible 3-wicket victory. Rashid Khan also contributed with a blistering knock of 40 runs off 21 deliveries.
