Ravindra Jadeja’s team put up a massive total of 216 runs for their arch-rivals, Bangalore. Batter Robin Uthappa shocked everyone with his mind-boggling performance. The opening batter hit 88 runs off just 50 balls. However, it was Shivam Dube’s stormy innings that helped Chennai put up such a massive score. Dube remained not out and scored 95 runs off just 48 balls. He scored 68 runs from just hitting boundaries.

The thin bowling lineup has been an issue for Chennai. The lack of depth in the bowling department is something that the team is suffering since the start of this season. However, all these things changed in the last match. Maheesh Theekshana took four wickets in his four overs.
