Most Hundreds in IPL: Without much of doubt, right-handed opener KL Rahul has been batting remarkably well during the last few seasons of the Indian Premier League (IPL). In the last 3 editions of the T20 tournament, the Karnataka cricketer has composed more than 600 runs in each of the seasons. This year in IPL 2022 season, Rahul is captaining the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and has had a wonderful start to the competition.
Most Hundreds in IPL: KL Rahul IPL 2022 reaches third century
In the ongoing match against Mumbai Indians, Lucknow Super Giants captain KL Rahul dominated the proceedings by playing an outstanding unbeaten innings of 103 runs off just 60 balls that included of 9 fours and 5 sixes. This was third overall and second IPL century for Rahul against Mumbai Indians. He has also become the first player in the history to score a hundred in his 100th IPL match.
Universe Boss Chris Gayle still holds the record for hitting the most hundreds in the history of the Indian Premier League with as many as 6 centuries. Former Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli has also scored a total of 5 IPL hundreds.

After losing the toss and being put in to bat first, the Lucknow Super Giants got off to an excellent start at the top as the opening pair of Quinton de Kock and KL Rahul added 52 runs in just 5.2 overs. De Kock got out after scoring 24 runs off 13 balls but Rahul remained unbeaten at the crease till the end smashing a fabulous century to help Lucknow Super Giants finish with a massive total of 199 for 4 in their quota of 20 overs.
