Fastest Ball in IPL: The 15th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) has got off to an exciting start especially with the pace bowlers enjoying bowling in the Indian conditions. Kolkata Knight Riders’ Umesh Yadav was the Man of the Match in the tournament opener for his superb spell of fast bowling while Gujarat’s Mohammed Shami also looked in a fabulous touch with the ball against Lucknow Super Giants.
Fastest Ball in IPL: Umran Malik clocks 150 kmph
In the ongoing match against Rajasthan Royals, Sunrisers Hyderabad’s speedster Umran Malik has once again caught the eyeballs. After being retained ahead of the mega auction, Umran has now set the internet on fire after clocking 150 kmph speed in his very first over of the match. Last year, while playing in his debut Indian Premier League season, the Jammu & Kashmir fast bowler consistently bowled over 150 kmph which also forced SRH to retain him as their third player ahead of the IPL 2022 mega auction.
Umran Malik has the record of bowling the fastest ball by an Indian bowler in the history of the Indian Premier League. During IPL 2021 season, Umran clocked bowling speeds of 152.95 and 152.05 kmph.

Dale Steyn | 154.4 |
Kagiso Rabada | 154.23 |
I think the timing of him giving the over is wrong. Jos butter loves pace, he has the ability to play shots that need less time. Jos was the one who has played fastest ball of IPL(156kmph)&it was a four. If jaiswal would have been in strike then things would have been different
