ICC Women’s World Cup 2022: The India Women’s Cricket Team have witnessed quite mixed fortunes in the ongoing ICC Women’s World Cup 2022 taking place in New Zealand. The Mithali Raj-led Women in Blue have registered two brilliant wins against Pakistan and West Indies but have also witnessed poor defeats at the hands of Australia, New Zealand and England so far. Indian Women will be trying their level best to qualify for the semi-finals of the 50-overs competition with two matches left in the league stage against Bangladesh and South Africa Women.

Womens World Cup 2022: IN-W vs BD-W
The Indian Women’s team will next be facing the Bangladesh Women on 22 March (Tuesday) in a must-win encounter at the Seddon Park in Hamilton. In the ongoing ICC Women’s World Cup 2022, India are currently placed at the fourth position on the points table with a positive NRR of 0.456. The Women in Blue will be taking on South Africa Women in their last game of the league stage on 27 March at the Hagley Oval in Christchurch.
“The atmosphere remains positive. After a loss you do feel down but we are in good headspace ahead of the game tomorrow. We will play to win, net run rate remains secondary,” said Indian all-rounder Sneh Rana, adding that they can’t afford to take Bangladesh lightly.
“Bangladesh have reached here by performing. They are always improving. There are no easy games in this World Cup,” she added.
