PAK Playing 11: After a dead rubber in the first test and a historic draw in the second, the Pakistan cricket team will host Australia for the 3rd and last Test match of this historic series in Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. The resistance shown by captain Babar and vice-captain Rizwan in the last innings, has for sure instilled some inspiration in the entire Pakistan squad to push their limits to go one step further in the series decider. They are expected to name an unchanged XI for this test.
Team News
- Lahore will be hosting their first test match since the attack on Sri Lankan players in 2009.
- Babar Azam, who made a career-defining 196, in the last Test will play in front of his home crowd, for the first time in his career.
PAK Playing 11 (likely)
Pakistan is not expected to make any significant changes to their playing eleven. The confidence gained from the last innings of the 2nd Test is bound to push Babar Azam to play with the same eleven unless there are some last-minute injury concerns. The batting department looks the strongest, with all of Babar, Azhar, Shafique, Imam, and Rizwan making significant contributions with the bat in the last 2 matches. In the bowling department also, they are expected to retain the same combo with Nauman Ali expected to take most of the workload.

- Babar Azam – The Pakistan captain has been in splendid form in this series. His ability to play according to the conditions makes him a great fantasy captaincy choice and a safe bet amongst all the available choices.

- Abdullah Shafique: He showed great composure in the last innings of the 2nd Test match, wherein he hung around with Babar to swing the game away from Australia’s favour. Moreover, the flat pitches in Pakistan, make sure that the openers get to score the bulk of runs, thereby making him a great fantasy addition.
