CHI vs MEM Dream11: NBA has been in full swing and after the All-Star Break, we have seen varied results courtesy of the upcoming Postseason window. As the playoffs will come near, the push for the Playoffs will create desperation among most teams. And with this desperation, we can see the turn in fortunes and various upsets. So, let us dive into the match between the Chicago Bulls and Memphis Grizzlies, who have bigger goals to achieve than just making the Playoffs.
The Bulls are tied with the Heat for first place in the Eastern Conference. They are on a six-game winning streak and they have done a wonderful job of keeping afloat despite a slim bench, largely due to the brilliant play of DeMar DeRozan who has been playing the best basketball of his career. Can they sustain this rhythm as the Playoffs close in?
On the other hand, the Memphis Grizzlies have garnered even more wins than the Bulls and this has been a season that has brought them into the limelight. A young and up-tempo team that plays a tough brand of basketball, the Grizzlies are among the stars these days. Can they continue soaring in the Wild Wild West?

NBA Projections, Stats & Analysis
Bulls: Thriving and riding the hot-hand of DeRozan
DeMar DeRozan keeps on piling up 30+ points nights on a regular basis and has also made late-game shots, being one of the best closers in the league. His mid-range game opens up driving lanes too and his contribution for the Bulls has been unparalleled this season. If he continues to play like this, this sort of confidence will make the team more formidable during the Playoffs. On the other hand, he has also received huge support from Zach LaVine who can also eke out quality offensive possessions. Meanwhile, Nikola Vucevic has been huge in the middle with his ability to gather rebounds and score at a high clip.
However, the biggest revelation has been rookie Ayo Dosunmu who keeps on growing with each game and plays a hard-nosed brand of basketball on both ends of the floor. He has done well to cover up the holes in the Point Guard spot. Coby White has been huge off the bench and he has given them much-needed production as an isolation specialist. Javonte Green has also raised his game but the bench is not the strength of the Bulls. Still, the team has been in a terrific position, and if they keep on playing like this, a top spot in the East remains in firm grasp even with teams like Heat, 76ers, Celtics, Cavaliers, and Bucks knocking at the door.
Grizzlies: Running and gunnin’!
Get the steal, run on the break and get cruising with highlight plays. That has been the mantra of the sprightly and athletic Memphis squad. Ja Morant is one of the most athletic players in the league and as an overall offensive player, his value is high as it gets. Desmond Bane’s pairing in the backcourt helped form one of the best guard tandems in the league and his ability to click from deep has been huge. Ziaire Williams is the third guard in the main-five and he has shown huge promise in the starting role. Steven Adams has been big on boards and his chemistry with Bane has also helped him become an effective playmaker.
However, for me, it is the play of Jaren Jackson Jr. that has been the difference-maker. He can pincer out quality defense while also getting on boards and scraping a bunch of points regularly. The bench is brilliant and the combination of Jones, Anderson, Konchar, Clarke, and Melton provides them with a huge boost. Clarke has been another player who knows how to rack the rim while Melton has been turning into an all-around threat. Konchar and Anderson give great dimension to the attack while Jones is a great injury cover at the one-guard position. When Dillon Brooks will return, oh my, this team will only heat up more!

Who doesn’t want to see the dunk galore of the Grizzlies and DeRozan pouring it from the field? But in not great news for Indian fans, this game can’t be witnessed through the official streaming services. The two official NBA Indian streaming services Voot and JIOTV are not going to showcase this game. So I will hum the same tune that the best way to get close to all the NBA games is by purchasing the annual subscription in the NBA League Pass which provides you access to all the live streams and full game replays too.
