India vs West Indies: The Eden Gardens in Kolkata is right now hosting the second T20I encounter between India and West Indies. India defeated the Windies team by a convincing margin of 6 wickets in the 1st T20I encounter to take a 1-0 lead in the three-match T20I series. Earlier, the Rohit Sharma-led side also registered a sensational 3-0 whitewash in the three-match ODI series against West Indies.

After getting an impressive start from the top order, Rishabh Pant never really slowed down and went on playing his attacking and unorthodox shots during the 2nd T20I match against the Windies team. During the 18th over of the Indian innings, Pant played an outstanding helicopter shot that actually went for a superb one handed six over the wide long-on region. West Indies pacer Jason Holder gave a full toss and the swashbuckling left-hander accepted the gift with an amazing hit for a six. He surely reminded the fans of former wicket-keeper batsman MS Dhoni by going for his trademark shot.

While playing in his 100th T20I match, West Indies captain Kieron Pollard won the toss and opted to bowl first. India did lose Ishan Kishan early on in the innings, but the duo of skipper Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli bailed their team out of trouble in a superb manner with a fine partnership of 49 runs for the second wicket. Rohit scored 19 runs off 18 balls but Virat Kohli smacked a brilliant innings of 52 runs off 41 deliveries that consisted of 7 fours and 1 six.

India lost some key wickets during the middle-overs stage, but then the pair of Venkatesh Iyer and Rishabh Pant took the onus on themselves smacking a fantastic partnership of 76 runs in quick time.
