Terry Rozier dunking CHA vs MIA Dream11

CHA vs MIA Dream11: NBA has been churning out games after games and it has been another fun season as usual. The current slate of games will be the last one before we hit the All-Star Break. The All-Star Break will be full of the usual festivities, the Three-Point Contest, the Dunk Contest, Rising Stars, All-Star Game, Celebrity Game, Skills Challenge. A window that opens up various types of contests that are at play here. Anyway, before, that the Charlotte Hornets will take on the Miami Heat.

The Hornets have one more loss than wins and that has surely not how they were faring around last month. This month has been a cruel one for the team as they have lost 88% of their games. And this is holding them back to make a push towards sealing the top-six spot and they are likely heading towards the Play-in tournament.

On the other hand, the Miami Heat is at the second spot in the Eastern Conference and has been playing a strong brand of basketball on the ends of the floor. The Heat has 16 more wins than losses and has won five out of their last six games, something they have done time and time again. Can the Heat seal the first spot by the time Regular Season is done?

NBA Projections, Stats & Analysis

Hornets: Not a great spell for them
There is no doubt that the Hornets have lost their way this month and one of the major reasons for that has been their lack of three-point shooting. Kelly Oubre has especially lost his three-point stroke and his poor percentages have held back the team’s offense quite a bit. The other issue has been the team’s defense and that is due to the team’s nature to engage in shootouts, trying to run an early offense. This has been the case since the beginning of the season and when your offense fails, of course, you are going to fail during most games.

The team has some scintillating players and few teams have the liberty of having so many isolation options. Terry Rozier and LaMelo Ball are at the guard spots, and both are capable of generating big-time points from multiple areas while also being effective playmakers. Miles Bridges has taken his game to another level and has increased his scoring. But like Kelly, PJ Washington has had his shooting troubles while Harrell fits well into the system. The Hornets need Kelly Oubre and PJ Washington to get it together.

Heat: Racing towards the top
The Number One position battle in the Eastern Conference has heated up for sure. The race is wide open and there are as many as six squads who can end up notching the top spot. Although the Bulls have been playing at a high rate, they have not created a cushion for the first spot as the Heat, Bulls, Sixers, Bucks, Cavaliers, and Raptors are totally in the shot. The Heat has been keeping up their play for most parts of the season and their defense is one of the best in the league due to the mix of perimeter and inside defenders that can keep it up for the most part.

The Heat has a strong perimeter defense with Lowry, Robinson, and Butler, all having the ability to hustle and play hard-nosed defense. On the other hand, PJ Tucker and Adebayo are two superb paint defenders while also being great individual one-on-one defenders. This means the team has a superb defensive unit and in terms of offense, Butler is an all-around scorer, Lowry can dip in some points while Robinson is an off-the-catch shooter. Adebayo is one of the best Centers in the league with his rebounding and interior scoring. The bench with Herro being the helmsman, Strus being the perimeter jumper driller, Vincent an incredible scorer, and with two Centers like Dedmon and Yurtseven is packed with talent.
