IPL Auction 2022 is slated to be held on February 12 and 13 in Bengaluru. It will be the biggest auction in the IPL history comprising of 590 players. Here’s everything you need to know about the Indian Premier League 2022 Auction.

The Punjab Kings have the maximum amount of funds (72 Crores) remaining ahead of the IPL 2022 Auction, and will look to make it big this time around. The second in this list is Sunrisers Hyderabad with 68 Crores, and is expected to pick a better team as opposed to the past few years. The new franchises, Gujarat and Lucknow have the amount as 52 Crores and 59 Crores respectively, by retaining 3 players each.

The maximum squad size is 25 players for each franchise in Indian Premier League 2022 season. There are 8 base prices set in the Auction, ranging from 20 Lakhs to 2 Crores.
3 All Rounders to Watch Out for in IPL 2022 Auction
1. Mitchell Marsh
The all rounder is expected to be attracting almost all the franchises in a bidding war due to his impressive performances for the past few months. He was player of the match in T20 World Cup Final and had the best average for Perth Scorchers in BBL 2021/22.

2. Jason Holder
The West Indies all rounder is in sublime form with his contribution in both departments. With an optimum experience in Indian subcontinent conditions and fine form in the last season of IPL, Jason can also be a fine candidate for the teams.

3. Moises Henriques
The 2 time Big Bash League winning captain has been one of the finest players in Australian domestic T20 circuit. He scored 440 runs in 16 games of BBL 2021/22 and is currently permanent member of Australian T20I team as well.
