IND vs WI: Possible India Playing 11 for 1st ODI

India Playing 11: Rohit Sharma has cleared the fitness test for the home series and will take charge as full time captain of Indian white ball side for the first time in his career. KL Rahul has been named in both the ODIs and T20Is squad as he was expected to be rested considering the amount of games he has been playing since WT20. The two match test series against New Zealand was the only series in which he didn’t play in the recent past. India have left out Venkatesh Iyer from ODI squad who was seen as the potential replacement for Hardik Pandya.

Deepak Hooda can be an ideal #6 candidate in 50 overs cricket for India. Venkatesh Iyer was tried in the SA series which turned out to be a failure, India might be looking to blood Deepak Hooda at #6 and give him an opportunity in all the three games in this series.
Prasidh Krishna retains his place and is expected to lead the pace attack.
KL Rahul will be available from 2nd ODI only.
Ruturaj Gaikwad is expected to play as an opener in the absence of KL Rahul in the first ODI.
