Watch: KL Rahul DIRECT HIT sends Temba Bavuma back to the pavilion
In a massive moment of the game, Indian captain KL Rahul came up with a perfect direct hit to end his counterpart South African skipper Temba Bavuma’s stay at the crease in the third ODI game. Bavuma miscued the drive towards the mid-off region and incidentally, changed his direction while running to the non-striker’s end and that is where Rahul hit the bullseye to catch him just short of the crease. The Proteas captain managed to score just 8 runs off 12 deliveries.

After losing the toss and being asked to bat first, South Africa have not had the best of starts losing two quick early wickets inside the first 10 overs of the 3rd ODI against India. For the visitors, right-arm pacer Deepak Chahar started off his return into the national team with a lovely delivery to dismiss Proteas opener Janneman Malan in just his second over. South African skipper Temba Bavuma also fell cheaply leaving his team in a big trouble.

The problems seemed to have increased for the hosts as Chahar has also removed Aiden Markram to provide India with the third and an important breakthrough. The in-form duo of Quinton de Kock and Rassie van der Dussen will now have to bail South Africa out of this troublesome situation in order to post a challenging first innings total on the scoreboard.
