हनुमा विहारी को उनकी टेस्ट कैप दी गई और वे भारत के खिलाफ पांचवे टेस्ट मैच में पदार्पण करेंगे.

विहारी को चौथे और पांचवे टेस्ट मैच के लिए टीम में शामिल किया गया था, और हार्दिक पांड्या को की जगह उन्हे रिप्लेस किया गया. गौरतलब है कि वे कुलदीप यादव की जगह टीम में शामिल किए गए थे.

इंग्लैंड कप्तान जो रूट ने टॉस जीतकर बल्लेबाजी चुनी. जो रूट ने पांचों टेस्ट मैच में टॉस जीतकर नया रिकॉर्ड बनाया उनसे पहले ऐसा करनें वाले मार्क टेलर थे जिन्होने इंग्लैंड के खिलाफ ऑस्ट्रेलिया के लिए यह रिकॉर्ड बनाया था.

साख बचाने के लिए भारत करेगा इंग्लैंड से संघर्ष

इंग्लैंड ने चौथा मुकाबला जीतकर, भारत के खिलाफ सीरीज पर कब्जा कर लिया था. हालांकि सीरीज हारने के बाद भी भारत का साख बचाने का लक्ष्य होगा, और क्रिटिक्स को शांत करने के लिए भी यही मौका है. इंग्लैंड कप्तान ने अपनी मंशा साफ जाहिर की जब उन्होने कहा कि वे भारत को यानी नंबर 1 टीम को चार मुकाबले हराकर विश्व को संदेश देना चाहते हैं.

Hanuma Vihari has been handed over his Test cap and he will be part of the playing XI for the final Test against England.

Vihari was included in the squad after India won the third Test in Nottingham where he replaced chinaman Kuldeep Yadav and now he has been included in the playing XI after replacing Hardik Pandya in the team.

Ravindra Jadeja has also got a chance to play in the final test after replacing Ashwin in the playing XI.

England wins the toss and opt to bat

England skipper Joe Root has won the toss and has opted to bat first. With this, Joe Root has also become the first skipper to win the tosses in all five Tests since Mark Taylor against England in Australia in Ashes series 1998-99.

India clash with England in a dead rubber

England have already won the series by 3-1 after winning the last match against India at Southampton. However, India will aim to restore its pride and hit back at criticizers by making the scoreline 3-1, whereas England skipper has already made his intentions clear by saying that he wants to send a strong statement to the world by outplaying the World No. 1 side by 4-1.

Virat Kohli led India will be looking forward to finishing the series on a respectable note in the Oval. India will also hope to change its record on the venue which is a big concern for India.

India have played 12 matches at the venue over the last 82 years, but have won only in 1971, when late Ajit Wadekar led India to its maiden series triumph in England the same year.
