CHI vs WAS Dream11: COVID-19 has managed to wreak havoc once again in this already injury-plagued league. And that is why, the lineup predictions have become trickier than before but well, as long as the athletes are working their magic, I will relate the dynamics of the league and try to analyse how players and teams are doing.
Anyway, in this game, the Washington Wizards clash against the Chicago Bulls in a classic Eastern Conference battle. The Bulls have an impressive 25 wins and 10 losses, and winner of eight games in a row, totally in their mid-season form. On the other hand, the Wizards have 19 wins and 19 losses, still looking for a magical winning streak since the Early November period.
The Bulls have a lot of weapons to deploy and their guard rotation is one of the best in the league. The team has high-quality isolation scorers and they know how to seize momentum in the middle of a game. On the other hand, the Wizards don’t possess such depth despite having a high-yielding guard option in Beal but the issue has been that the bench depth hasn’t been the same and overall, the team has failed to close out games again and again.

NBA Projections, Stats & Analysis
Bulls: They are emerging as the Eastern Conference favorites but…
Give the ball to LaVine and DeRozan and see the offense flow freely. Both scorers can go past 25 on most nights and that too on high efficiency. DeRozan is having a season of his life and well, LaVine has been doing this for years now. Now, pair these two iso threats with Ball and Vucevic, and get two more 13+ points scorers who can hit open shots and also deploy various other moves. With Coby White as your backup, you get yet another 13+ points scorer and you can see how these teams have multiple scoring options at multiple positions. Once Alex Caruso returns, the Bulls will have even further depth and even better defense. However, can these Bulls keep their step up against teams like Nets and Heat, who have a wide arsenal too and well, Playoffs time can test this team. Still, things are looking sunshine and jolly for the Bulls fans.
Wizards: Not consistent
Washington has been plagued by one huge problem since the mid-November period, they haven’t finished games well, and often, they are playing catch-up. One of the reasons for that has been that their defense has worsened as the season has progressed and the team doesn’t have the similar offensive efficiency as someone like Bulls. Still there are some encouraging signs, Beal has scored 25+ in most games recently, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope has done well, Kuzma has FINALLY turned it on for 21+ points outings, Gafford has been a decent contributor and Dinwiddie was recovering his rhythm before he got COVID-19. The team still needs to work a lot on defense and the ceiling is there but unlike the Bulls, they are not closing games well and not seizing momentum. Will Wizards remain a 50% win team or elevate to 60%? Well, let us see, the season has just reached the halfway stage!
