The Big Picture:-
Chief selector Inzamam ul Haq has named the 16-member squad for the upcoming Asia Cup, which starts from September 15 in the United Arab Emirates.
The most notable absentee from the squad that thrashed Zimbabwe 5-0 back in July is veteran all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez, who is being replaced by Shan Maqsood.
All-rounder Imad Wasim, who failed to clear the yo-yo test on Monday also misses out.
The two-time champions Pakistan will start their Asia Cup campaign on September 16 against the winner of the ongoing qualifiers in Malaysia before taking on arch-rivals India on September 19 in Dubai.
