STA Playing 11 (likely)
Melbourne Stars probably have one of the strongest sides in the competition this season. They have three members which were part of Australia’s T20 World Cup winning campaign a few weeks ago. Glenn Maxwell had a terrific IPL season, but was unable to deliver consistent performances at the World Cup.
Joe Clarke is expected to bat in the top order for Melbourne Stars. Hilton Cartwright and Beau Webster will occupy the middle order slots for their team. Meanwhile, Stoinis has amassed several runs in BBL, opening the innings for his side. There is no reason for him to be pushed lower down the innings, as he continues to give his side a good start. Adam Zampa will spearhead the spin bowling department.
