Suresh Raina Bat Broken in CSK vs MI: One of the best cricketing carnival, Indian Premier League (IPL), is back and the opening clash is between the arch-rivals, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Mumbai Indians (MI) at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The Chennai Super Kings find themselves in a disappointing troublesome situation in the first game against Mumbai. After the early dismissals of Faf du Plessis and Moeen Ali, experienced batsman Suresh Raina too threw his wicket away while playing an unlikely shot. Raina also broke his bat off that delivery from MI pacer Trent Boult. Raina had to play with some sort of responsibility especially as his team had already lost two big wickets and Ambati Rayudu left the field after being retired hurt. The left-hander managed to score just 4 runs off 6 balls.

After losing the trio of du Plessis, Moeen and Raina, things just got worsened for the Chennai Super Kings as skipper MS Dhoni was also sent back early courtesy an unbelievable catch taken by Trent Boult near the boundary line. For the Mumbai Indians, the new ball bowling duo of Trent Boult and Adam Milne got their team off to an incredible start picking four quick wickets to put the opponents under some serious pressure. In a noticeable fact, CSK had a disappointing performance in the IPL 2020 campaign that was played here in the UAE and they haven’t started well this season as well.

The pair of Ruturaj Gaikwad and Ravindra Jadeja are currently unbeaten at the crease and they will be aiming to bat well in order to put up a competitive total on the board. On the other hand, the MI bowlers will be looking to keep picking wickets at regular intervals.
