RCB 2021 captain
RCB team 2021 captain is Virat Kohli. He has been leading the side since 2013. Kohli has been a prolific run scorer not only for his team, but overall too. Kohli is also India’s captain in all formats and is a run-machine in both international cricket and IPL. In 2016 IPL, Kohli broke all records by scoring 973 runs in a single edition of IPL which included 4 hundreds. RCB finished as runners-up of this season.
In IPL 2021 though, Kohli didn’t have such a great season with the bat. He struggled for timing and apart from his 72* against Rajasthan Royals, he looked out of form. In IPL 2021 phase 2, skipper Virat Kohli’s form with the bat will be important to RCB’s chances.

Why RCB never won IPL?
RCB is always considered as a favourite before the start of an IPL season. They have a group of world-class players who are capable of winning many titles for their team. They have two of the modern day greats in the line-up. But they have always lacked a reliable fast bowler who can win matches for them. They invested on Kyle Jamieson this year to address this problem. The lack of a quality Indian batsman in the lower order puts lot of pressure on Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers. The team tends to struggle when Kohli and de Villiers have a bad day.
