With Hardik Pandya’s back injury concerns where he has been unable to bowl for long overs, India has been need of a pace bowling all-rounder. In the ENG vs IND 4th Test Match, Shardul Thakur has scored consecutive half-centuries to put India in front-foot and help the team in posing a total of 368 runs for the home team.  Can Shardul Thakur contribute with the ball as well?

The new batting all-rounder for the Indian team will be critical to the team’s success with the ball as well. Although, he has got limited success with the ball in hand, he has the uncanny skills to pick wickets at a crucial juncture of the time.
