India head coach who along with team India skipper Virat Kohli had received backlash from critics after a humiliating defeat at the Lord’s hailed India’s victory in the third Test as clinical.
The Men in Blue crushed the hosts by 203 runs to make it 2-1 in the five-test series and Ravi Shastri who had said that there was no negative bone in the team was a proud coach after India’s seventh Test victory in England.

The team has established its dominance at their home but conquering the teams overseas still remain a challenge for the team.
India were outplayed in England in 2014 by 1-3 in the Test series and then they were defeated in Australia by 2-0.
Earlier this year, they lost the Test series against South Africa by 2-1. After the first two disappointing outings, several questions were being raised on India’s abilities to win overseas.
However, a win at Trent Bridge has kindled the hopes of team India of a series win against England.
“It is a conscious effort from India to become the best travelling side in the world. We do not just want to win at home. We know we can win at our home. They do not stand a chance especially when we challenge them on spinning tracks. But we want to win away from home,” he said.
“I know this team can be the best travelling side in the world,” he added.
“We had come for this match with high hopes and we understand that it is all about applying yourself. It is all about executing our plans in the best way possible and they did a brilliant job,” said Shastri.
