Saurabh, 16 year old shooter bags Gold Medal, Indian Cricket Fraternity applauds

THREE GOLD MEDALS FOR INDIA TILL NOW
India got yet another gold medal in Asian Games 2018. With this, India has three gold medals and the person who brought gold this time for the country is just 16 years old. Saurabh Chaudhary, the Indian shooter has bagged gold in Men’s 10m Air pistol event today.
Saurabh, who has finished on a total of 240.7 in the Men’s 10m Air Pistol final, ahead of Japan’s Tomoyuki Matsuda, who is a two time World Champion, shot 239.7 and bagged a silver medal. Apart from this, India’s Abhishek Verma won bronze for the country with a shot 219.3.
It’s a very special achievement for Saurabh Chaudhary as he becomes the youngest player to set a new world record on the way to winning a gold medal in the ISSF Junior World Cup in Suhl, Germany.
The 18th Asian Games is a pan-Asian multi-sport event. This year, it is being conducted from 18 August to 2 September 2018 in the Indonesian cities of Jakarta and Palembang.
GAME TO BE HELD IN BANDUNG AND WEST JAVA AND BANTEN
The game will be held in and around the two cities, including Bandung and province of West Java and Banten.
On the other hand, till now India has won seven gold medals in Asian Games 2018.
It’s a very special moment for India as the 16-year-old Chaudhary topped the game after qualifying the round with a score of 586.
Abhishek Verma qualified and ranked 6th position with a score of 580.
India has won three medals already in shooting at the Asian Games 2018. While Apurvi Chandela and Ravi Kumar started with a bronze in 10m Air Rifle Team. Deepak Kumar won silver in 10m Air Rifle. Even the 18-year-old Lakshay bagged silver medal in Men’s Trap.

The Indian cricket body was stunned by the performance shown by 16-year-old Saurabh Chaudhary by winning the gold medal and wished him good luck on Twitter.
