ENG vs IND: Wasim Jaffer picks India’s Playing XI in a cryptic tweet

The stage is set for the five-Test series between England and India. With two heavyweights set to clash with each other, there will be no dearth of entertainment. The Virat Kohli-led side after losing three series on a trot in England would be aiming to register their first Test series win since 2007. On the other hand, the Joe Root-led side will be looking to avenge their defeat over India after a 3-1 loss earlier this year.

Wasim Jaffer named his Indian XI for the first Test against in a cryptic way 

The five-Tests series between England and India will kick start from 4th August at Trent Bridge. With only two days remaining for the start of the first Test match, many fans and pundits have already started to predict their Indian XI for the first Test match against ‘Three Lions’.

Wasim Jaffer was once again at his comical best and named his Indian XI for the first Test in a cryptic way. The former Indian cricketer uploaded collage on his official Twitter account and wrote: “My Playing XI for the first test #ENGvIND #decode,”

The collage had pictures of featured Bollywood stars like Hrithik Roshan, Shah Rukh Khan and Ranveer Singh, former WWE wrestler Stone Cold Steve Austin, current Team India coach Ravi Shastri and boxing legend Muhammad Ali.

ENG vs IND: What Virat Kohli said ahead of the Test series against England? 

Speaking to Dinesh Karthik on Sky Sports, Indian skipper Virat Kohli said that winning the upcoming Test series against England would mean nothing more than any other series victory.

“For me personally, it means nothing more than winning a Test match or a Test series anywhere else in the world. For me, these things are not anecdotes or milestones in my career. We step on the field and we compete to win every Test match, that’s what matters to me. For Indian cricket it will be a huge thing. But for me it is the culture that is dear to me,” Virat Kohli said.
