ENG Playing 11: With series already won, hosts England will take on Sri Lanka in the 3rd ODI here at Bristol. England have been ruthless all throughout the tour and have made full use of Sri Lanka’s inexperience and bad form. Many of the hosts’ first-choice players are not part of the squad, but they have an excellent bench strength. In the head-to-head record, England leads Sri Lanka 38-36. The defending World champions look in complete command at the moment and look to clean sweep the series.
Team News
England have called up top order batter Tom Banton for this match in place of Dawid Malan who will be absent due to personal reasons. Fast bowler Mark Wood is likely to be rested for this match. Chris Woakes is likely to be included in his place.

Bairstow and Roy have been one of the best opening pairs in this format for some years now. Root has played a perfect hand in both the ODIs by rotating the strike and allowing other batsmen to play their natural game. The pressure though, will be on Sam Billings to prove his worth before the first-choice players become available for selection. In bowling, Sam Curran and David Willey have consistently troubled SL batters with their skills and have picked up wickets with the new ball.
