IND vs NZ: Star Sports Drops A Spine-Chilling WTC Final Promo Video

WTC Final: India and New Zealand are all set to be part of a historical moment in cricket history as they meet in the inaugural ICC World Test Championship (WTC) final starting from 18 June in Southampton. Both these teams have done exceedingly well in the purest format of the game throughout the last two years and the players have worked really hard to achieve this feat. New Zealand are already playing a two-match Test series in England as part of their preparations while Team India will be landing in the UK on June 3 for the big WTC Final.

The Star Sports Network, which will be streaming World Test Championship final in India, have released an absolute breathtaking promo for the biggest encounter of the summer.
The WTC Final promo video highlights the challenges that the Virat Kohli-led Indian team has gone through in the last couple of years having registered a historic Test series win in Australia and then against England at home.
Incidentally, it was India who was crowned as the first-ever champions of the T20 World Cup in 2007 and now the team has a chance to win the maiden WTC title.

India vs New Zealand World Test Championship Final

Ahead of taking the flight to England, Indian captain Virat Kohli stated that he isn’t under pressure before the all-important WTC final against New Zealand and is confident about his plans on how to take Indian cricket forward. The India Test skipper also noted that there is no real advantage to New Zealand as they are already playing two Test matches in England before the WTC final. He reckons both teams are equal ahead of the inaugural WTC final.

“There’s no pressure on me. I don’t have any pressure on me. I have no ulterior motive, my only aim is to take Indian cricket ahead. What matters for us that we help each other,” said India Test captain Virat Kohli in the press conference ahead of leaving to UK for the WTC Final.

“Conditions are as potent for New Zealand as they are for us. Conditions in Australia should’ve favoured them too. It’s about how you look at things. If you want us to think that NZ will have an advantage before boarding the flight, then it’s that otherwise we feel we are equal,” he added.
