With the IPL 2021 postponed due to the rising COVID-19 cases in India, plenty of international cricketers have been allowed to travel back home. However, some players have duties with their national side and will soon be seen in action again.
One certain team who will be busy in the coming months is New Zealand. The Kiwis will be squaring off with England for a two-match Test series. Which will then be followed by their much anticipated clash with India at the Rose Bowl Stadium, Southampton, for the ICC World Test Championship Final.
Keeping that in mind, the New Zealand team are now heading to England as they kick off with their preparations. One of the videos which is trending on social media is that of a Indian cricket fan clicking selfies with veterans Ross Taylor and Tim Southee.

‘Would you take Virat Kohli’s wicket?’
The fan asks the players if their heading to England, and also made a tongue in cheek remark to Tim Southee, asking him that if he’ll take the prize wicket of Virat Kohli in the WTC Finals. Southee did give a reply and said that “it would be nice” if he did manage to do so.

New Zealand’s first Test against England will take place at Lord’s, and is scheduled to be held from June 2-6. The second and final Test will be hosted at Edgebaston, and will be contested from June 10-14.
IND vs NZ ICC WTC Final
The ICC World Test Championship Final between India and New Zealand will be held at the Rose Bowl Stadium, and is scheduled from June 18-23. A win for either team will go in the history books, as they’ll be the first side to win the Test Championship.
